Our Annual General Meeting will be held on February 24th from 6pm-8pm at the Ceilie (Symons Campus) and on Zoom.

As usual, after the business portion of the evening, there will be free food, door prizes, a raffle, and slightly unhinged trivia.  Please register at this link.

We are officially accepting nominations until Monday February 2nd at 12pm.

All positions are open to self-nomination, and we are actively recruiting for the positions listed below.

On Tuesday February 3rd, candidate bios will be posted to our website, Instagram, and sent out via the graduate student listserv for you to review, along with the referendum questions you will be asked to vote on at the Annual General Meeting. Voting will open online on February 25th at 12pm.

Before self-nominating, please carefully review the following points.

* All applicants must be accepted by and registered in a graduate program at Trent for the 2026-2027 calendar year. * Students awaiting notification of acceptance to a program may self-nominate to open positions during August of 2026. * The TGSA is a not-for-profit established in 2011, all positions are volunteer positions. * All directors and executives are required to act collaboratively and have a fiduciary duty to the Organization.. * All directors and executives are expected to attend monthly meetings, file a monthly report, attend and take notes at their assigned committees, and fulfill their duties as have been laid out in the TGSA by-laws. * By-laws can be found on the TGSA website.
